Abstract (EN)

This research was carried to determine the effects of nitrogen applications (0, 3, 6, 9, 12 kg N / da) on grain yield and yield components in some barley varieties (Bolayır, Ünver, Hazar, Harvest) in Tokat-Kazova conditions in 2018. The study was executed on "Split Plot Designs on Randomized Blocks". In study, heading time, maturity time, grain filling time, plant height, spike number of per m2, spike length, grain number of per spike, grain yield of per spike, lodging rate, biological yield, grain yield, harvest index, 1000-grain weight, hectoliter weight and protein content was examined. Except for protein rate, differences among genotypes were statistically significant in terms of all the characteristics examined in the study. In terms of grain yield, which is the most important criterion, Bolayır (409.2 kg) variety took the first place and Hasat (347.1 kg),Hazar (328 kg) and Ünver (313.2 kg) varieties followed that cultivar. At the same time,Bolayır variety was superior for hectoliter weight, harvest index, biological yield andspike number of per m2. While the effect of nitrogen on heading time, grain filling duration, maturity time, plant height, spike length, grain yield of per spike, harvest index and proteın content were insignificant; its effect on spike number of per m2, grain number of per spike, biological yield, grain yield, 1000-grain weight and hectoliter weight were significant. The highest yield on all cultivars was obtained at 9 kg N/da dose. According to the findings of the study, Bolayır variety having the highest grain yield and 9 kg N/da should be suggested for the region.
