Determination of occupational health and safety risks by questioning method on the Toros HEPP project

In this study, a risk analyses and evaluation study, on safety and health risks, named Determination of Safety and Heath Risks From all types of risks by selection, has applicated to a geotechnical project named "Toros HEPP" at the beginning of project and correlated with work accident at the end of project. The concept of risk analysis and evaluation of our country has emerged during the EU harmonization process. To perform Risk Analyses and Evaluation is still legal obligation. Because of this is a very new concept, many scientists, academics, and safety specialist, have shown interest in the methods of other developed countries. In this case, due to the absence of a method of risk analysis belongs to Turkey and lead to some conceptual confusion. Thesis, a new approach through the extraction from the academic point of Occupational Health and Safety proposes the concept Determination of risk. This Risk Evaluation Method has been applied in many big plants especially steel plants such as Yazıcı Demir Çelik San. A. Ş., Ekinciler Demir Çelik Sanayi A. Ş. MMK Metalurji Sanayi ve Liman İşletmeciliği A. Ş. BEFESA Silvermet İskenderun Çelik Tozu Geri Dönüşümü A. Ş. and also this method is applying many little and medium plants successfully.
