Developing a smart examination glove for medical education

In this thesis, a smart examination glove and user interface design developed with wearable technology approach for manual examination application requiring training with experience in medicine. The developed smart glove ensures that the pressure information applied with the educator's fingers during the examination is recorded when worn by the trainer during manual examination training. In addition, if the same examination is experienced by the student wearing smart gloves, similarly, the pressure information applied during the examination with the fingers are recorded. Thanks to the user interface developed, the data obtained from both examinations are compared with each other both statistically and visually. According to the results of the comparison, the student receives feedback on how accurately the examination is performed. Therefore, the student has contributed to the completion of manual examination training more accurately and faster. Within the scope of this thesis, smart inspection gloves and developed user interface software are presented together with sample data.
