Turkey has a high potential on beekeeping with its rich flora; diversity of honey bee colonies; and the presence of colonies that rank second in the world. The yield of honey and other bee products is below the world average. In this study, extension aspects and activities of beekeeping enterprises are studied on Turkey's high risk of desertification TR52 (Karaman and Konya provinces) Region. Survey was conducted with 318 of the beekeeping business in 1112, and with 18 institutions / organizations engaged in extension activities. The average age of beekeepers is 51.26 and 76% of them are the stroller while the other 24% are fixed. On companies; 49% of labor is over 50 years and 32% of labor are female individuals. 64%of enterprises do beekeeping as a second job or for extra income. Most manufactured product in the beekeeping business is honey. Honey is followed by pollen and beeswax in order. Factor analysis were performed to reduce 36 expressions containing the degree of the problems faced by beekeepers and their applications. Beekeepers' information sources of innovative applications were evaluated by the Multidimensional Scaling. According to difference matrix obtained from analyses results, stress value was found as 0.00248, and R as 0.99. This shows that dimensioning of the sources of information in bee farming has perfect balance. When considered in this context, it has emerged that other beekeepers, Directorates of Provincial Food Agriculture and Livestock, and television suffice to learn innovation; and the other sources of information should be used more effectively.
