Abstract (EN)
The transcription of Amasya the 4th Sharia Court Record between the dates 1642 and 1644 has been done in this study. The record in the book has been classified and evaluated according to the topics. The study consists of three section. Introduction contains the general information on the Ottoman political, social and economic structure of the Ottoman Empire in the first half of the 17th century and city historiography and Amsya sharia cord records. The first section gives informations about the kadi in the Ottoman and the sharia cord record. The second section mentions about the information of Amasya the 4th Sharia Court Record Book. Besides, the dissection and evaluation of the records have been done. The third section, gives the study of trascription. Finally, over all evaluation and the referances are placed in the conclusion section. In the section of transcription study, numbering is as 1/1, 1/2, 1/3. The first numeral states the page number and the second numeral states the number of the record rank available on the page. In the transcription section, "…….." has been used to indicate to undecipherable words and "?" to indefinite words and ( ) to blanks placed in the record book.
