Abstract (EN)

Multible traumatized patients encounter, high percentage of cases (up to %30),severe organ complications that lead to high morbidity in some cases to death. The primary therapeutic aim is t oto limit the ischemia/reperfusion (l/R) injury and the dgree of tissue injury, since both factors are understood to be the main sources of inflammation. Recent investigations have been focused on the development of immunomodulatory procedures to support the body's host defense mechannisms Major proinflammatuar cytokines ( IL-1, IL-6, IL8 and TNFa) have been researched in many studies. In our study, we planned to research related to posttraumatic early cytokines, trauma scores and mortality in multitraumatized patients. The cytokines (IL-1, IL-2,IL6, IL-8 and TNFa), trauma scores (lSS[lnjury Severity Score], RTS[Revized Traumatic ScoreJ), APACHE II (Acute Physiolgy and Chronic Healt Evaluation II) scores of patients were designated. Patients were seperated in 5 groups. Group 1 :Head injury (n=39), Group 2:Thorax injury (n=1 1 ), Group 3: Abdomen injury (n=16), Group 4:Extremite injury (n=18), Group 5:Mixt injury (15) We determined that IL-6 was increased in post trauma when data were evaluated and it has been designated increased in nonsurvivor patients more than in survivors (p<0.Q5).IL-6 was determined to increase more in ISS>16 whose patients than ISS^16 whose others(p<0.05). There was mean levels of IL-1, IL-2, IL-8 and TNFa cytokines in Group 3. IL-6 was found to rised in sum total groups and it was mean in Group 2. Finally early rising of IL-6 after trauma in multitraumatized patients may support to predictive mortality. It is clear that was necessary more studies in this subject.
