Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine whether the tourists who choose Alanya as the destination of the holiday differ in the image of the destination pre and post visit. In this context, factors affecting image formation pre and post visit were analyzed. The survey sample was obtained from the questionnaire on the day of departure of 384 tourists coming to Alanya. The questionnaires were used to obtain information about demographic factors, information sources, motivational and attractive travel motivations, pre and post travel destination images, activities they attended, vacation satisfaction and post-holiday behavior. The obtained data were analyzed with SPSS package program. In the analysis of the data, paired sample t test, t test, ANOVA, correlation and regression analysis were used. As a result, the pre and post destination image differs. The activities that tourists attend in the destination play an important role in the diversity of the image. While push and pull travel motivations affect pre-holiday destination image, information sources have no effect on the pre- image of destination
