The impacts of tourism effects on the place satisfaction of local people: Trabzon example

It is seen as a very important tool that provides economic benefits to countries, and it is among the rapidly growing sectors in the world and everywhere in the tourism sector. As the tourism industry begins to recrudesce in the district, explicit and pessimistic sociocultural, environmental and economic affects may arise. These affects are matte by local populate. The effects of tourism on local populate and their satisfaction with the place they live in depending on these effects are discussed. In this study, the aim of this study is to mensurate the effects of tourism on the attitudes of local people and to investigate whether local populate are quenched with the situate they live, including living place satisfaction. First, a inclusive literature review was regulated to collect research material. As a result of the information obtained, a survey was arranged. The survey used was utilized to local people living in Trabzon. The application of the survey was based on the idea of accumulating information from all members of the society and ensuring that the research objectives are realistic and feasible. 612 people take part in the research. As a result of the survey examination, the number of participants was determined as 511 people and the analysis data was distributed. As a result of the research, it was decided that there was a momentous relationship between the effects of tourism and living place satisfaction in all dimensions. The relationships between the research variables were examined by adhering to a model developed based on the living place satisfaction of the affects of tourism on the local people living in Trabzon. Accordingly, it is stated that there are significant and positive or important and pessimistic effects on the living place satisfaction of the local people living in Trabzon, depending on the demographic variables, the local people's demographic variables on the affects of tourism, and the local people's living place satisfaction effect on the effects of tourism. Local people have significant and positive effects on tourism in terms of their living place satisfaction and their attitude towards the effects of tourism. However, it was found that there were statistical distinctions between the participants' tourism effects and living place satisfaction research variables. Finally, based on the findings and suggestions, suggestions were made for stakeholders who have cognition and potency in the field of tourism in Trabzon.
