Abstract (EN)
The aims of this study were to investigate integration process in Turkic world, the factors that prevent this process and the impacts of Turkey and Kazakhstan to this process.The process initiated between Turkey and the Turkic Republics of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, that gained their independence after the collapse of Soviet Union in 1991, the obstacles faced in the process and problems between countries were also included in this study. Also in this study have been given some knowledge about the contribution of integration activities in Central Asia to the creation process of the Union of Turkic World and the interests of other major powers in the region.The present study focused on the future promising concrete work that started to execute within the framework of Turkic Council, which was established as an official institution and especially on the new period, started with summit in Nahchivan on October 2009. In this context the impacts of cooperation between Turkey and Kazakhstan in all areas to this process have been emphasized.
