Temimü'd-Dari stories in Turkish literature

Temimü'd-Dari stories that is included in Turkish literature have been analyzed in this study academically. These stories have been mentioned in reading meetings that is a long-standing custom and in books that is read in these meetings throughout history. It is quite important meeting with written culture for people who is illiterate especially in respect to gaining religious and moral values. Temimü'd-Dari stories include a lot of factor to save people in the sense of religious, cultural and moral. In the study, it has been informed about story and sorting of the stories in Turkish literature with reference to academic studies about the subject and literal and historical primary resources first of all. Historical and legendary life of Temim who is character of the story and also an historical person has been analyzed. Custom of narration 'Temimü'd-Dari' that maintains its existence for centuries has been discoursed and it has been tried to compose a story of Temimü'd-Dari generally based on the five copies in the study. Stories include a lot of religious, literal and social factors. For this reason, the stories have been analyzed comparatively in contemplation of contribution academically and then the stories analyzed by general titles such as person, time, place, religious factors and cosmic universe. While the stories have the language features of old Turkish totally, method and dictation used in reading of copies have been focused on in third chapter of the study.
