Abstract (EN)

Law in itself is a science that evolves from generation to generation. From ancient times to today. Men have always wanted to belong to a family, a society, a community. It is in this option that families, peoples and nations were created slowly. This is the notion of nationality.Nationality is the bond of legal affiliation to a given nation, whether for a natural person or for a legal person (companies, associations, ships, etc.). Nationality confers political, civic and professional duties and rights. International private law rules are concerned only with legal conflicts and judicial conflicts in Land-European or Anglo-Saxon countries. For example, in countries such as Turkey, France and Germany, which are subject to the Black European Law system, citizenship law is generally a matter of constitutional law or public law, and in many other countries the situation of the foreigner is closely linked to public freedoms. In this work we shall try to make a summary comparison between the positive Turkish law relating to the acquisition of Turkish nationality and the French legislation on the acquisition of French nationality. In the writing of this thesis, we will mainly use Law 5901 of 12.06.2009 on the acquisition of Turkish nationality and articles (articles 17 to 33-2) of the French Civil Code which recognize the acquisition of nationality French. Although the legislation on acquisition of nationality in France and Turkey is somewhat similar, there are still some small differences that we will try to highlight. Keywords: Nationality, Acquisition of nationality, Acquisition by birth, Acquisition by the blood bond, Acquisition by marriage, Adoption, Law on Turkish nationality, French Civil Code.
