Tea in Turkish folk culture

Culture is a multifunctional world that affects the individual in every aspect. Traditions, customs, beliefs and rituals in this World are also pieces of this puzzle. All of these pieces are values transferred from generation to generation and include the cultural treasure of Turkish sociological life. Tea is one of these treasures. Tea, nourished by tradition, has tken its place in cultural elements and has created a very deep and deep-rooted structure around it. Over time, it became the bedside drink of mass invitations, meetings, main and snack meals, and became identified with the Turkish people. In the study, it is mentioned that tea is a socializing and folkloric power, nourished by tradition, and that it brings the Turkish society together in the melting pot of folk culture, and that it has a wide place in the Turkish people, from oral and written sources to more specifially, literary works.
