Abstract (EN)

Music contains many important elements. In a musical performance, there are many aspects that need to be considered besides performing the piece correctly. Among these issues that are important in stage preparation, the use of body language is also important. The fact that our body is in harmony with what we say creates a positive effect on the audience. A live vocal performance becomes impressive not only with the quality of the voice but also with the use of body language. The performer's confident attitude can enhance the impact of the performance on the audience. Additionally, hand gestures, facial expressions, dance moves, or walking on the stage can support the expression of emotions and the story conveyed in the song. For instance, in a romantic section of a song, a vocalist's romantic gaze or placing hands on the heart can help the audience feel the emotional effect of the song. The use of body language is important in almost all artistic activities, as well as in a live vocal performance. This state of full concentration, in which the use of body language is improvised by the performer and is popularly known as "getting into the emotion" is not found in all vocal performers. If the performer is a professional and cannot provide this concentration, mostly among the main reasons for this situation; There are reasons such as stage fright, performance anxiety, stress, loss of attention. Having a command of body language on stage; time, experience and a good education can be gained. Being fully present on the stage is also an indication of a lot of practice and a good experience.
