Dem voice in Turkish folk music and opinions on the usage of it with Turkish folk instruments

Turkish music, which we have acquired as a heritage from the past to present, has a special importance in our cultural existence with both instrumental and verbal elements. It has a unique structure that hosts and keep many cultures in it. Although there are many literature studies on this important structure, there are various concepts that have been going on from language to language, from ear to ear and from past to present, one of these concepts, which is known in practice but it is not mentioned in litarature is the concept of "Dem Voice". This research aims to find various determination about "Dem Voice". Firstly, literature review was made and available sources in this area were examined (about Dem Voice) and its usage of it with folk instruments. During the process of research, 9 instruments which have different characteristics were examined and the research was limited with these instruments in the next stage, examples to be considered in research were divided into 2 groups as "performer" and "field expert". The data were obtained through a semi-structured personal interview with the sample group. Also in this stage, thanks to information and opinions which obtain from "performer", "Dem Voice" was tried to be shown on "Dizek". If some of the research results are listed, some of the first ones that come to mind are that dem voice provides an important expression power to the works in terms of musical richness, at the same time it acts as an important ornament techniques and methods in THM instruments and there are not many examples reflected in the not.
