Abstract (EN)

In the process that started with the French Revolution, the age of ideologies began to occur, and conservatism had the opportunity to express itself in the face of modernity. Increasing the violence and influence of modernity has expanded the impact area of conservatism at the same rate. Especially England and France were the carriers of he first conservatism. The next conservatism is an ideology, a debate which lasted until the present and the past is not the point. Consequently, conservatism has been accepted as an ideology since the French Revolution, whether it is perceived as "loose" or an "attitude" to events. Turkish Conservatism, which developed in parallel with Turkish Modernization, started to emerge mainly with Tanzimat, but gained momentum with the declaration of the republic. It can be said that Turkish Conservatism is positioned in accordance with the notion of "center-environment and official-informal area" inherited from the Ottoman Empire in the historical process. At this point, Turkish Conservatives refrained from entering into a conflict with official history and found the opportunity to express themselves right next to the developing revolutions. It can be said that there was a sharp Kemalist interpretation that saw conservatism as reactionary. In addition, as Ziya GÖKALP has stated, the Turkish revolution has its own conservative vein. Thus, the Turkish Conservatives accounted for the revolutions that kept and did not, without going into a reckoning with the past, and they expressed sensitivity regarding the preservation of culture. This concept in Turkey after 1983 until the 1980s that the distance of the political power of the Motherland Party has become a reference point referred to it. After that date, it was also owned by the parties to the right of the political spectrum. The work in this direction conservatism, conservatism in Turkey and then in the 1970s with Turkey Kubbealtı Academy this year, the Journal has focused on the effects of conservative politics and culture. In this aspect, we can say that the issue is limited by the effect of the magazine. Although the statements and influence of the journal have an important place in this most active period of Turkish politics, this effect has not been evaluated sufficiently until today. The articles and poems published in journal were examined by subjecting them to a classification according to their subjects. Thus, the discourse of the journal in the fields of language and literature, history and general culture, religion-mysticism and politics was examined for the first time in this study. As a result of this examination, the contributions of the journal to the conservative culture and politics in the 1970s were revealed.
