The difference of note-performance in Turkish music violin performance, the example of Nubar Tekyay

Nubar Tekyay is one of the important names who contributed to the formation of original violin attitudes on the basis of Turkish music's performance with the violin and Turkish music style. It is accepted as a school in the field of Turkish music in terms of influencing the violinists who came after it with its unique attitudes and techniques. In this study, it is aimed to embody the technical characteristics of Nubar Tekyay's violin performance and his violin performance in Turkish music style, since there are few studies in this field in the literature and can be a source for Turkish music violin education. In the research, the performance records of Nubar Tekyay's accessible works were notated, the composition note copy of the work and Nubar Tekyay's performance were compared by writing in two lines one after the other. and embodied. Among the records examined, it has been observed that Tekyay created her own unique violin style by staying true to the style and tradition of Turkish music, using her interpretation and expression insecurities.
