Availability of turkish art music works in viola education in fine arts high school

The Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Secondary Education Fine Arts High School Instrument Education Viola Lesson Curriculum, which is applied in our country, consists of eight semesters. With the effect of the viola being a Western music instrument, the repertoire applied in viola education and used by our teachers consists mostly of works suitable for the Western music sound system. For this reason, there is an important deficiency in the repertoire of Turkish music in viola education in our country. Based on this, in this study, in addition to the methods and methods used in viola education, it is aimed to contribute to the instrument education by making use of the Turkish Classical Music repertoire adapted to viola education in order to increase the students' interest in their instruments and their academic success, and to use their instruments effectively and efficiently in daily life. In this study, descriptive research method was used and qualitative research techniques were used. The study group, seventeen fine arts in Turkey's seven geographical regions constitute the total in high school educators who work in these institutions and viola. In the collection of the data, the works in the repertoire created to support the authorities included in the viola teaching program were selected using the scanning method from the note archive of TRT, and a semi-structured interview form and in addition to this, a work evaluation form was applied to the field experts to get the opinions of the viola educators. The data obtained from the applied forms were analyzed using the content analysis technique. As a result of the forms applied to viola educators, the methods used for Turkish music in the viola education of the fine arts high school, etc. The sources are limited, the repertoire created by the researcher for viola education will have a positive effect on viola education, the repertoire created supports the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Fine Arts High School Instrument Education Viola Lesson Curriculum in terms of acquisitions and works, and it is suitable for the readiness levels of the students. and it will contribute significantly to the viola education for Turkish Art Music in our country.
