Teacher's image in Turkish cinema

In this study, the purpose is to represent the indication and interpretations about the images of a ''teacher'' first presented in 1965, lately in 2009 as a nineteen movies sampling. The indications of the movies which have acquired as a means of content analysis methodology are analyzed in accordance with the qualitative research methodology. This method leans on the additive codes of the indications and the impartial interpretations of the plots which have been established beforehand. Throughout the research, the way of the variety that the teachers experienced is supposed to make use of motion picture and the literature of the motion picture of Turkey. In this section of the study, it was realized that the motion picture history of Turkey, has a great parallelism with the history of the Republic of Turkey. Therefore the study surmounts the educational sciences, the motion picture history of Turkey and the agenda of Turkey. As a conclusion, teachers in the history of Turkey's motion picture generally are reflected through socio-economic and idealist in 1960s; humorous in 1970s, in 1980s and 90s political and religious axis. In 2000s it was seen that the counterfeit of previous years, especially 1970s are quite irrepressible. In those years, it's pointed out the imputation of sexualism to female teachers and the interference of teachers to the students' private lives out of schools.
