A research about interferences for development of play writing in Turkish theatre

In this research, our national theatre and play writing history was evaluated by historical perspective. In first part Social, cultural and economical issues of our playwriting were taken and researched together. In second part, all efforts for solutions of our playwriting issues were given a matter preferential consideration. As is known, today?s Turkish Theatre is fed by two sources, Western Theatre and Turkish Traditional Theatre. It?s obvious that, Since Ottoman Empire, different way or method was to be found to the originality of Turkish Theatre. In this research, new ideas and efforts of theatre experts were researched an evaluated. Research topics are negative effects of the Ottoman social structure, lack of institutional study,copyright ıssue,case review and criticism, effects of cinema and television, censorship. Interventions have been evaluated for the solution of this problem.
