Özet (EN)

Abstraction is an action in which the undetachable thing is mentally detached» It is realized to get the general and the essence purely» Therefore the thing' unrelated to the essence is underestimated. Abstraction in art means the separation of art from Naturism and the deviation of art in imitation of natural reality» In this sense the abstraction has taken place in the. art of primitive communities» The Abstraction in the 20 century art becomes the main characteristic of art in the parallelism of the system of thought in the age» Thus, the artist irritated by the constant changing of objective reality that causes anxiety has looked for the stable points of peace and for this he has attempted to reach the unchangeable essence of the creatures» This means the diver gence of artl from the.sure imitation of the natural reality. The abstraction in modern art begins with the impressionism in plastic th art in th° 19 canary. A1,1 strict ».r*t bp^ins as n litp-parv i-rpn^ at the beginning of the 20 century. Having originated from the plastic art and being spread over the other artistic fields the trend means in drama withdrawing from imitation and through this way -being self sufficient with th its own means and turning to be the pure art. In the 20 century abstraction in drama has created many experimental currents such as epic drama and absurd drama» Apart from these, it should be mentioned about the extensive abstraction in the conventional drama of the East particularly referring to acting» The tendencyto abstraction in (Turkish drama has taken place between the years of 1950 and 1970, the most intensive and dynamic period of the Republican drama» Abstraction in this period is differently noticed in: 1- the dramatic works 2- the works in which tradition is used 5- the absurd works Aziz Nesin* s plays dependant on abstraction should be evaluated as the plays in the kind of dramatic works -except Düdükçülerle Yxrcacilarxn Savasx which has the aspects of the convertional drama. These plays written ambiguously have some certain dramatic actions» They consist of universal themes such as death, solitude, marriage, war, heroship etc» The abstraction in these plays first serves to the playwright» s aim to create a kind of human being who can be national when the playwright avoids all kinds of externally local details - dressing, scenery, stage prop, accents, etc, - To Nesin, national drama can be created, when a man "who senses, thinks and behaves" as a Turk is created even if he is without all these helping elements on the stage. Nationality is the preliminary condition of universality
