Both, Ege Std-1 and Çukurova Std-1(B) Cotton prices have shown increasing trends at current prices but decreasing trends at real prices during 1970-2001 period. Both price series have similar seasonal fluctuations that are above the monthly average in May, June, July and August. Liverpool Cotton a Index prices have positive slope trend line in the 1970- 2001 period and have slightly seasonal fluctuations.
