Abstract (EN)
Financial analysis is conducted to determine whether the financial developments of enterprises are at an adequate level. Financial analysis is based on examining and interpreting the relationships among the financial ratios of the enterprises. By using financial analysis, strengths and weaknesses of the companies can be examined. By analysing the past financial experiences of the companies, opportunities and threats of the future can be determined. Thus, businesses that are efficient decision makers can improve their performance. In this study, we study three companies with largest markets shares to determine the growth trends in cement sector by analysing financial statements. The study is planned in three sections. In the first part, general information is given on cement sector. In the second part, financial analysis types and techniques of financial analysis defineds and in the last part, the results of financial analysis on the cement sector are evaluated.
