Abstract (EN)

A geographical sign is a sign that identifies and indicates a product identified with a locality, area, region or country with a particular character, reputation and other characteristics. As one of the rural development strategies, geographical indications that provide protection of local products can be considered. The geographical sign will be an important contribution to the development of the small producers and the protected area of local products. As of May 2017, there are 322 products in the application phase and 204 products in the geographical area. One of these products, Finike oranges, was registered in 2008. The area of the study includes the villages of Finike, Hasyurt, Yesilyurt, Sahilkent and Lonely and Yuvalılar villages. The general population of the county is 46.256. The climate of the town is dry and hot in summers and warm and rainy in winters. According to the province's 2016 data, the total agricultural land is 68.358 decares. The district is Finike oranges, and the area of the Washington navel variety is 30,300 decares according to the 2016 data. The aim of the study is to determine the economic and social effects of the geographically marked product, Finike orange, to the region and the countryside in terms of the producer. The contribution of the geographical sign to the product quality is the marketing advantage, the problem of the producers. According to 54.3% of the producers, Finike stated that there is no change in the market share after taking the orange geographical indication and after the geographical indication according to 61.3% of the producers, there is no change in the price. The geographical sign is partly attributed to the area of recognition of the product and to the promotion of the area, in part. According to 84% of the producers, the geographical sign indicates that there will be an economic, social and social opportunity in the province/district, region and family. In factor analysis, 11 variables with predictions from the geographical markers of the producers were combined into 2 factors. The first factor contributed to the development and contribution of the feast, "regional development and the contribution of the economy to geographical care" has been given the name. The second factor has been given the name "recognition and unity of the geographical sign" because of the introduction of the second factor and promotion of advertisement and advertisement.
