With the declaration of the Republic, which was an important turning point for the Turkish people; as the male population decreased during the war, revolutions were carried out in order to ensure that women, who made up the other proportion of the population, participated in social life and to gain the rights and lifestyle of pre-Islamic Turkish life and to be protected from external factors. With the accepted Civil Code, it is aimed for Turkish women to be protected within the framework of the law and to be more free in social life. In order to introduce and adopted the legal revolution as well as other revolutions to the public and especially to women, was received help from literature, with the support of the government. In the study titled "The Development of Women's Identity in Turkish Novels and the Change of Women in Society in the Early Years of the Republic of Turkey", were examined that Turkish women regained their rights with the proclamation of the Republic and thereby their important position in history, their development and creating modern Republic women's reflection on female characters in selected novels have an important place in Turkish literature.
