Independent regulatory commissions are known as self-regulating organizations, supreme boards, and regulatory authorities in general and they appeared after year 1980 for reorganizating the economy. Independent regulatory commissions are the self-governing public entities that have special importance and sensibility for communal living; regulates audits and leads on fundamental rights and liberties, economic and social sectors; have administrative and financial autonomy.In this report; the characteristics of independent regulatory commissions, the causes of emergence of these commissions, samples of them on the world and in our country are observed. Favorable and unfavorable sides of operations of independent regulatory commissions and their self-governance are studied.Independent regulatory commissions have had positive effect especially on solving the problems of economy. Their having authority on regulating and auditing the free market economy enable the economy developing in a good manner.
