Abstract (EN)

Qualified human sources in the companies has became one of the core values of the companies in the current competition environment that has been brought by global economy. This subject is important because it creates the problem of worker's satisfaction. Companies that are unable to improve the satisfaction of its employee's, cannot protect its human sources and are facing with high turnover rates. The flexible working arrangements steps in here. Demands from employee's like spending more time for their private life and arranging their working hours to sustain their physical needs can be answered by flexible working arrangements. Flexible working arrangements are also important for companies because it gives the opportunity to lower the operating costs. This thesis, is a study regarding the impact of flexible working practices on employee satisfaction in Turkey. Interviews with 64 employee (with 23 before pandemic, with 41 during pandemic) from different companies that are using tele work and flexible working practices had been conducted. As a result of the interviews, it has been found that employees are satisfied with the flexible working practices and that it doesn't impact the inter-company communication process negatively.
