The importance of village institues in aspect of social development

In this study, The Village Institutes effects on educational changes in economic, social, and cultural areas, as well as their relationship with these was searched.Because of the role The Village Institutes played in enlightment it spurred among Turkish people, and the value, they placed on different approaches to training teachers, it was an important and original application. For this purpose of research, The Village Institutes were seen as a social phenomenon and movement of change.The aim of the study was to determine what effects The Village Institutes had on cultural and social development apart from training teachers in Turkish Society. A qualitative research, letters, documents, and other scientific works were cited. In addition, all data was examined via descriptive analysis.The Village Institutes were established on April 17, 1940 under The 3803 Village Institutes Act with the hope that educators would teach villagers and educate them about the Republican ideological enlightment. An educational understanding that was productive, democratic, student ? centered, enriched by art and appreciated cooperation was adopted.
