A Research about development of total quality control in medium and small size enterprises in Turkey

Dr., Azim Öztürk September 1998, 113 Pages It can easily seen that today, Small and Medium Sizes Enterprises have more effect in social and politic life and their importance rises all around the world,developed and devoloping countries, also in our cuntry. It is detected that this kind of firms must be approved in Turkey as soon as possible. They must adopt the wind of changes today, because of globalization of the world of the world and obligation of exportation in free market between other huge enterprises. This firms have a lot of problems in our country today, for example unproductivity,financial problems,having an unprofessional and a centralized type of organizations in contrast to their high rate in economy of Turkey. Total Quality Management is a strong managerial thought. It easily finds more applications in the world and it give answers to problems that many firms have and could not solve with other way. It gives continious growing up in processes,training,quality standarts and it is a management tecniques that supplies "customer satisfaction". In this study,problems that small and medium sizes enterprises have today in our country was researched and some proposals was produced to solve their problems with the help of Total Quality Management.
