Abstract (EN)
This study was collected from the region of Turkey different 26 local okra and genotype (BLK-1, MGL-2, MGL-3, MGL-4, MGL-5, MGL-6, MGL-7, MGL-8, MGL-9, MGL-10, AYD-11, AYD-12, AYD-13, MGL-14, UIS-15, UIS-16, USK-17, AYD-18, GAN-19, STD-20, GAN-21, DZL -22, DZL-23, Akköy-11, Kabaklı-11, Marmara-1) in 2019 in the greenhouses of Akdeniz University, Faculty of Agriculture in order to examine the variation in terms of morphological and phenological characteristics. In the study, local okra genotypes were cultivated under greenhouse conditions and 34 morphological and phenotypic observations and measurements were made, including UPOV criteria. The obtained data were analyzed statistically and variation in local okra gene sources was investigated, the affinity of the genotypes were examined and the total temperature requirements for 50% blooming and fruit harvest time were calculated. Variation was observed in the examined morphological and phenological characters. The greatest variation among the studied characters is seed yield per plot, total temperature demand for 50% pod tying, total temperature demand for 50% bloom, plant height, seed yield per plant, petiole length, first fruit diameter, fruit: length of ripe fruit Fruit: diameter of ripe fruit, flowering time, number of fruits per plant and commercial harvest time values. Significant differences were found between genotypes in terms of traits examined. By using agromorphological characteristics, the affinity of the genotypes were calculated and the early genotypes that were used as rootstocks in breeding studies, prominent in terms of morphological characteristics and broad bean characteristics were determined.
