Abstract (EN)
İbrahim Kaypakkaya (1949-1973) has been one of the leading figures of 68 generation for the activities conducted under Turkish Communist Party/Marxist Leninist which he founded illegal organization in 1972. After his death, his followers kept their leader's thoughts alive by organizing Marxist-Leninist-Communist Party and Maoist Party. On the other hand Dursun Karataş (1995-2008) has begun his political actions in 1970s. Firstly he led the Revolutionist Left Party, then the Revolutionist People Salvation Party which are both illegal organizations. Both of those had an effect on organizations which harmed Turkey in tangible and intangible means. In this study, leaders' thoughts keeping ideologies of foundations which are deemed to be terrorist organizations by officials, were focused. Then these thoughts were compared within objective and criticizing approach. In order to reach these results; theses, books, periodicals and internet sources were made use of. İbrahim Kaypakkaya and Dursun Karataş were assessed in terms of ideologies defended, aim and strategies followed, views about Kemalism and national matters, individual approaches to left wing in Turkey and revolutionist stands. Kaypakkaya depending on Marxism-Leninism-Maoism has emerged as a powerful image with a radical approach to Kemalism and national issues as well as being loyal to his ideology. Karataş depending on Marxism-Leninism has criticized Kemalism and national issues to a certain point so clear as Kaypakkaya. Kaypakkaya rather than Karataş has become the symbol of communist revulotionism in Turkey
