Family Health Nursing for Turkey certificate programn development: A Delphi method study

Objective: This study aim to create draft the family health care certificate program with Delphi consensus technical. Method: Study has been carried out with online and face to face environment in 15 March-25 May 2022 dates. Study's population constitutes to academic nurses working in family health nursing in Turkey and working family health workers in family health center. Data taken from working family health workers nurses in family health center with face to face and academic nurses with online in Antalya, Kepez region. The first Delphi survey was completed with 38 experts and the second Delphi survey was completed with 35 experts. The experts were given four weeks for the first survey and five weeks for the second survey. In the draft family health nursing certificate program, the definition, duties and responsibilities of the family health nurse, the content-methods and materials of the certificate program, the duration, the screening and follow-ups in family health nurses and the consensus on the practices were evaluated. For consensus aim taken width value is 1,50, frequency and percentage are %75 consensus in Likert type questions. Results: In first round consensus has been reached to certificate program condition and content %73. In first round inconsistent topics were 17, converted to multiple choice with open-ended data 22 subjects, related to certificate content 13 offer than experts. At the end of the second round, the Delphi tours were terminated with a consensus of 61.5% on the certificate program and its content on issues that could not be agreed in the first round. Consensus has been reached in related section certificate program requirement and content were %68,8, certificate program content were %85,9. Conclusion: By consensus created to family health nursing certificate program draft can use in working nurses family health center in Turkey for education proficiency and standardization guide.
