Web-based applications for intending to generalize occupational health and safety culture in turkey

The purpose of the thesis, the aim is producing to make real of waiting safely in Turkey; work places and who works in this sectors, universalizing culturally around the country with the help of Web-based applications by becoming conscious about taking measures against probable risks. In the result of this research, occupational health and safety inspection of work places hasn't been full formation yet. According to TÜİK 2014 reports there are 1.628.124 workplace. The number of inspectors who inspect these establishments is limited to 500. Number of establishments per Supervisory is 3256. This indicates that how the control mechanisms are inadequate. The loss to the national economy also is a different dimension. In this matter, the staff who works in Labor and social Security Ministry has to do a real inspection plan and use it actively in order to convey this aim to success. The inspections programmes which were done by Ministy were carried out with general observation in risky fields and sectors. In order to solve this problem, the way is ; creating information substructure in order to assess the risks of occupational safety scientifically. The institutional or personel members will have all kinds of information and hardware about occupational health and safety and also attain it's reports by doing risk analyses about work places with the help of information substructure. The needed information will be processes by gathering datas from institutions. Web-based application system was improved by using ASP.NET software. In our software, some specific functions are accessible to all users, the other users, who want to make use of all functions can entry with the institutional or personel members which were constituted initially. In our web-based application system, there are regulation issues, education calendar, education applications lesson videos, question banks and risk analyse parts. Furthermore, the members who get education can create their own questions in "question bank" part and can send to our system manager. Each question is assessed in management juror's book.and is added to subject based test if if is appropriate. In this way, users can help us to create test questions. The most important property of web-based application system is; the institutional or personal member users can use risk analyse application about their work place. As a result; the made thesis studying, for OSH experts, employers and employees having easy to use and appealing as online to users; in the field of occupational health and safety, it is a web-based software that facilitates problem solving.
