Role of local goverments in management of solid waste in Turkey, the example of Municipalty of of Antalya Muratpaşa

Local administrations have olways been an important factor because it's the closest point to the folk. They keep their important position in regards to supply local people's need in first place. They have great responsibilities as struggle the defile that orginating from urbanization and it's source wich is called defilers. Consept of immediate solution to this problems increase this administrations's importance. Because of the responined sibility of supplying the needs of local people, they are efficient and responsible in solving environmental problems. In this project, In this work, projects, wich is dealing with environmental issues, running by local governments will be examinated in regards of juridical responsibilities and steps of projeckt of Çevreci Komşu Kart, wich is new concept to Turkey, and this project's impac on environment and people will be examined either. therefore, what can be done by local government againts environmental issues will be observed.
