Fiscal policy becoming more of an issue by government intervention comes out as a field which analyses how government fiscal instruments should be used in the context of the determined aims. Fiscal policy carries out resource allocation to increase national welfare by using fiscal policy instruments such as government expenditure policy, tax policy and debt policyIncentive policies have been perceived as the most efficient fiscal policy instrument. Governments determine proper incentive policies depending on their countries? current socio-economic and social structures. For achieving economic development and enhancing social welfare, incentive policies have been considered an efficient fiscal policy instrument by governmentsIn this study, incentive policy is regarded as a fiscal policy instrument, aims and types of incentive policies implemented in Turkey are evaluated, and feasibility and efficiency of incentive system in Cukurova region are analyzed.Keywords: Fiscal Policy, Incentive Policy, Cukurova Region
