Abstract (EN)
The automotive sector is among the locomotive sectors in terms of its contributions to the economy in the world and in our country, its connections with other sectors and leading technological developments. It is known that the Special Consumption Tax on motor vehicles in our country is quite high compared to countries with developed automotive industry and has a significant share in motor vehicle costs. In this respect, the reflections of the Special Consumption Tax regulations made for the automotive sector on the sector and the economy are of great importance. In this study, the SCT regulations applied to the automotive sector in our country and the changes made in this direction are discussed and the reflections of these changes on the automotive sector and the economy are analyzed.
