Özet (EN)

Collective bargaining is a process by which employers and unions estabilish terms and conditions of employment. The contract that results is called a collective bargaining agreement, and it regulates the relationship between the employer and employees involved. in contract negotiations the union is usually bargaining on a dozen fronts at önce, trading ceoncessions on some fronts for gains on others. But we narrow the study to two policy objectives as real vvages and employment. in Turkey, the efficiency of collective bargaining with respect to real vvages and employment, has shown different peculiorities before 1980 and after. Because of applaying introverted economical policy and strong syndical organizing, the unions have reached their high real vvages and employment quarantee targets through effective collective bargainings as from at the beginning of 1960's. But, after 1980, due to international economic enviromental conditions, it has reflected to the vvorkers in the form of low real vvages and reduced employment levels in long term, through extroverted economical policy that is supported by legal-instutional regulations against to syndical organizing. in this term, short term increasing in real vvages, have primarily compensated by public and private employers with decreasing employment levels.
