Özet (EN)

In the thesis study called Compound Words in The Dialects of Turkish Language in Turkey and Their Importance in Respect to the Richness of Turkish Language, the study has been carried out as being based on Dialectical Dictionary; Compound words which take part in the vocabulary and are compiled from the colloquial language have been determined. The words in question have been classified according to the ways of formation and they have been structurally analyzed.It has been observed that compounding being one of the word formation ways of general language is consulted considerably often in Turkish Language in Turkey as well, and it has an important place in the colloquial language with an extensive usage area including the names from object names to organ names, and from plant species to children?s plays.In the first part, question area and starting point of our study and its extent are mentioned;In the second part, it is given place to publications and researches about the study.In the third part, firstly some information about the method of the study and the way of data collection is given; then the definition of `compound word? is emphasized and its place in the languages is touched upon.The fourth part being a part of research includes expositional classifications of 6633 compound words, which are gotten from Dialectical Dictionary, in the form of subtitles.In the fifth part, all of the findings and researches are brought to a conclusion. Moreover, the importance of compound words in the colloquial language is emphasized in regard to the richness of Turkish language.
