Abstract (EN)
Although the word entrepreneur is a term that defines individuals who evaluate opportunities, it is a situation that depends on the physical, social and environmental environments in which the individual is found. Entrepreneur, one of the production factors required to produce a good or service in economics, is the person who combines and manages the land (nature, natural resources), capital and labor factors. Entrepreneurs must have many different features such as being able to see and apply innovations, planning work, organizing people, creativity, and risk taking. Entrepreneurship, individuals' activities for the purpose of establishing and managing their own businesses, and the state providing both material and moral support to the entrepreneur for this has become a concept that has gained importance from the past to the present. Although the agricultural sector is an important sector that meets the basic nutritional needs, it is possible to find entrepreneurs in all activities within the supply chain in the agricultural sector. In the process from the beginning of production to consumption, many factors such as innovations, risks, planning and creativity are needed in many areas. These characteristics are seen as the characteristics that an entrepreneur should have. In this study; It is aimed to determine the factors that affect the entrepreneurial activities of the Somali national students studying in the Faculties of Agriculture in Turkey after they return to their countries in the agricultural sector where they receive education. In the study, the entrepreneurial characteristics and tendencies of the students were determined and it was tried to determine how the social and economic structure affected the entrepreneurial tendency and whether there was a meaningful relationship between them. A total of 77 Somali students studying agriculture in Turkey were surveyed using the full count method due to the Covid-19 outbreak and their presence in different provinces. The data obtained were processed through the SPSS program, and the method of factor analysis, frequency analysis and descriptive statistics were used. As a result of the factor analysis, the factors affecting the entrepreneurial activities of the Somali national students studying in the Faculties of Agriculture in Turkey after returning to their country, in the agricultural sector where they received education, were reduced to 8 factors.
