The aim of the research is to compare three different types of floor systems (Conventional, Flat, Waffle) from an economic perspective for tall buildings. For the purpose of this study, three models of a typical 25-story RC building structure with different spans length will be utilized. These models have all been checked and analysed under the influence of gravity loads and lateral loads. Three different models were compared. According to the comparison of materials costs for each model with different floor systems, it has been found that conventional floor systems are more cost-effective in tall buildings with intermediate span lengths, waffle floors are more economical for buildings with longer spans, and flat floor are the most expensive in both cases.
