Altay AcarThis study interest in determining of tecno-mechanical properties ofKayseri marbles. In this intention, Nurdal Marble Mining Company?s quarry that arepresent Kayseri city were investigated.The samples taken from the marbles quarry were used for some experimentshad been realized at the Rock Mechanic and Soil Mechanic Laboratory of ÇukurovaUniversity Mining Engineering Department. Also techno-mechanical properties weredetermined. At the results of these tests, Kayseri travertine?s bending strength 82,02kg/cm2, stroke strength 7,40 kgcm/cm3, unconfined compression strength 378,10kg/cm2 values have determined. Density, water absorption, ratio, porosity, void ratioand shore schelerescope strength values have determined 2,29 kg/cm2, 2,6 %, 6,31%, 88 % and 44,14 respectively.Key worlds; Travertine, Tecno-Mechanical, Marble Product, Quality ControlII
