Özet (EN)
This research was carried out in order to examine the risk perception and risk management practices of the companies operating in the logistics industry and the participants working in the authorized positions of six companies operating in the logistics industry in Turkey, and the effects of the Covid-19 period on companies and companies' risk management practices with the help of qualitative research techniques. The research is based on the analysis and interpretation of the data collected through a semi-structured interview form. Content analysis was used to interpret these data. In line with the findings obtained from the research, it is possible to say that logistics companies see risk not as an opportunity for gain, but as a phenomenon that creates the possibility of loss. Logistics companies face the most economic and operational risks as risk types. In order to manage these risk types, it takes measures to prevent the risk before it occurs. The Covid-19 pandemic has a negative impact on companies in the logistics industry in general. In addition, risk management practices during the Covid-19 process are mostly aimed at staying healthy.
