Abstract (EN)
Due to the fact that living conditions and public services are better in cities, people migrating from rural areas to urban centers suffer from unemployment, housing, transportation, education, etc. in cities. exacerbates the problems. People who migrate to cities with the aim of increasing their quality of life become a part of the problems that exist in the cities and they are also negatively affected by these problems. One of the problems in cities is undoubtedly transportation. The increase in private vehicle ownership in the city, traffic accidents and density, prolonged waiting times in traffic, increased stress, lack of parking, noise and air pollution, occupation of pavements by vehicles / tradesmen, etc. problems is one of them. Problems encountered in urban transportation. Changes and innovations in information and communication technologies have gained momentum recently and have become an indispensable part of our daily lives. Intelligent transportation systems, whose importance is increasing day by day, offer solutions to the problems experienced in urban transportation through information and communication services. These solutions include control systems (speed, red light, etc.), information displays, smart stop, electronic fare payment, mobile application, etc. is coming. The main purpose of smart transportation systems is to prevent traffic accidents and to protect people's life and property safety. It can also protect the environment, shorten travel times, reduce the amount of fuel, etc. there are also purposes. With the solution proposals (green wave, smart intersection, etc.) and conveniences (smart stop, mobile application, etc.) offered by smart transportation systems in urban transportation, the quality of life of the city residents in urban life increases. In this way, the transportation of city residents who are drivers, pedestrians and passengers in traffic becomes easier.
