Abstract (EN)
The technology concepts have started to gain importance nowadays as a result of globalizing competition environment. For this reason, the newly established initiatives focused on technologic and innovative ideas. A way for nations to develop innovative systems is through technology-based incubation centers. The Incubation centers which contribute to innovative ideas and product development have an important place for initiatives. The initiatives need innovation and technology policy tools, such as incubation centers, in order to overcome challenges and survive the early years of establishment. Incubation center programs provide services that support initiatives like shared space usage, mentoring, management support and training. In this study, the consepts of national innovation and incubation centers are defined, it focused on applications in Turkey and in the world. Applied in incubation centers seems to have improved of activities, programs, ideas and products they developed, fund supports, university-industry cooperation.
