Abstract (EN)
Corporate companies are the ones that gain strength with the concept of globalization and increase the competition in the world. Together with the concept of globalization, especially with the decrease of economic borders, multinational corporations have started to spread to different countries' economies by spreading around the world. The concept of corporate citizenship has inevitably provided an opportunity for international companies that are unresponsive to change in the world to integrate this development and change. With the changing world order, public opinion has gone beyond the demands of quality products and services. This situation in the demands made the companies to act as citizens. Companies, like the citizens of those countries, have reached the point of exhibiting citizenship characteristics as well as their participation and support in the economy. They started to contribute to the country by adopting the problems of each country where they started their trade life and by considering the problems of the countries. These examples of institutional citizenship vary according to the priority problems of countries. Companies engaged in corporate citizenship activities under the headings of environment, culture, sports and education not only created employment in the countries they entered into their markets, but also addressed the country's outstanding problems. In doing so, they emphasized the need for raw materials, employment and environmental factors arising from their production and services. Key words: International companies, globalization, corporate citizenship, corporate citizenship practices
