Abstract (EN)
This thesis study entitled The Role Of The United Nations General Assembly In Resolution Of International Conflicts consists of three parts. In the first part of the study, it is made a theoritical/conceptual framework in order to support the thesis and it is also presented the authority, functions and the institutional structure of the United Nations. In the second part of the study, the institutional structure of the United Nations General Assembly is briefly examined and the effect/role of the General Assembly in resolution of international conflicts is tried to be determined. In this part of the study it is also presented the authority and the functions of the General Assembly by linking the topic of the thesis. In the third and the last part of the study, it is presented the methods of resolving international conflicts in accordance with explanations, informations and evaluations of previous parts of the study and the role taken by the United Nations General Assembly in resolution of international conflicts is explained with examples of conflicts.
