In the Personal Information Form created by the researcher, there are items that may be related to emotion management skills, gender and perceived parental attitudes. As a result of the study, a significant relationship was found between university students' emotion management skills and their childhood experiences and attachment styles. University students' emotion management skills do not differ according to gender. Emotion management skills differ according to perceived parental attitudes. When the relationship between attachment styles and childhood experiences was examined, it was found that there was a significant positive relationship between the subordinating and threatening memories subscales of childhood experiences and fearful, obsessive and apathetic attachment, and a significant negative relationship between the worthless memories subscale and secure attachment.
