Abstract (EN)

Since its existence, human beings have been experiencing changes of both small and large scale and are trying to continue their lives by dealing with them. Today's rapid changes increase the need for coping; individuals are under pressure from external conditions they cannot control. Trying to find a way to adapt to get rid of this pressure and sustain life, he found the phenomenon of "resilience" to be the most effective extinction. Flexibility is the ability to deal with change in circumstances and plays a key role in people coping with change. The University period is a period in which the first step towards young adulthood is taken and young people who are about to come out of puberty experience a variety of new experiences. In this period, many issues such as adapting to the new social and academic environment with the University, researching various career opportunities, questioning the relations with the opposite sex and friends, being independent within social freedoms and meeting academic expectations form the agenda. Therefore, it is very important to evaluate the cognitive flexibility seen as important in dealing with problems in university students and to determine the effect of stigma on psychological well-being. This research was conducted with 128 female and 50 male students in the guidance and psychological counseling department of Çukurova University Faculty of Education. The aim of this study is to examine the students ' cognitive resilience levels in terms of stigma and psychological well-being. The data obtained from the surveys conducted within the scope of the study were analyzed with the SPSS 22.0 program.
