Abstract (EN)
In the thesis study, a portable spectrophotometer device was designed for mass determination of UCNP materials to be used in LFA structures. For measurement, a section with a lid is made on the instrument, where a spectrometer cuvette will be placed. This section prevents the liquid solution containing UCNP from getting ambient light from outside by closing the lid after the cuvette is added. The fiber optic output, located in the cable section of the device, is attached to an external laser to allow 500 mW 980 nm NIR beam to enter the system. Wireless access is provided to the device through the router to which it is connected, thanks to a designed Android application. Features such as adding and deleting materials to be analyzed, setting device calibration, adding and deleting material calibration, adding measurements and past measurements with wireless access to my list have been added. In addition, the correlations and graphics of the calibrations of the materials made are displayed on the application. The correlation factor (R2) of the regression was found to be 0,76 and 0,839 in the calibration tests performed with solutions containing UCNP at low concentrations with the designed device and application. The device is capable of pre-testing the presence and intensity of the signals of UCNPs developed at laboratory scale and for the applications in which they will be used.
