Abstract (TR)
The rapid advancement of technology and the widespread use of the Internet have revolutionized various aspects of healthcare, including the availability of online pharmacies. This thesis explores the user acceptance of online pharmacies in developing countries like Jordan using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a theoretical framework. The global proliferation of online pharmacies has created a need to investigate their acceptance and intention of use in Jordan, where they are currently unavailable. By extending Tam to include trust and perceived risk in addition to the key constructs, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of, provides a comprehensive lens for examining the factors influencing user acceptance of this new concept in Jordan. The study employs a quantitative approach, A standard questionnaire has been distributed to gather data from a sample of online pharmacy potential users in Jordan. Data were analyzed to using Spss software. The findings of this study contribute to the existing literature by shedding light on the factors that influence user acceptance of online pharmacies in Jordan, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust, have a significant effect on the Attitude of the customer toward online pharmacies, which in turn have a significant effect on behavior intention and use of online pharmacies. The implications of this research extend to various stakeholders, including policymakers, and healthcare practitioners. Online pharmacy startups can craft innovative marketing and supply VI chain strategies that optimize this novel service's efficient and effective utilization by understanding the factors that influence user behavior. This study serves as a foundation for future research in this field and contributes to the development of strategies that promote the effective and secure utilization of online pharmacies in Jordan and maximize their impact and successfully navigate the dynamic landscape of healthcare delivery in Jordan.
