Abstract (EN)
Surviving in the increasing global competition, complying with changing market requirements, and meeting customer expectations in an effective way can only be achieved by dealing with innovation and amendments and applying both of them in company process effectively. Companies that pay attention to these most important points have adopted different quality approaches and applied techniques that belong to these approaches in their processes in order to improve quality and productivity performance and to act better than their competitors and to be successful in their sector. The "Six Sigma" approach is a good way to reach these goals with an expert group.In this work, basic concepts of Six Sigma have been mentioned. Then, a Six Sigma Project in an electronic card design and manufacture factory is explained. Root cause analysis of customer complaints, reworks, and scraps have been done. The analysis have done with the usage of Six Sigma tools and applications that eliminate the causes have been carried out. With these applications, the aim was to elevate the production and the quality process to the level of Six Sigma and to decrease the quantity of defects.
